We place emphasis in suggesting that you make a habit of glancing at the News Board (archive). Once you have an overview of what is currently available, you can better profit from your visit.

LanGServices started this Virtual Office toward the end of 1999. Since then, much content has been placed on line, and there is a lot more to come.

Although LanGServices is equally concerned with providing free and commercial assistance within a broad area comprising language(s), linguistics and communication, priority has initially been given on line to the public domain aspect of this assistance. Language, after all, is everyone's property!

As a result of this policy, there are areas which have hardly been developed so far. Some of these areas are particularly relevant owing to the originality and productivity of the approach they entail. These are areas of special interest to LanGServices' professional sections.

While the professional aspect of this web site has not been given priority thus far, there is, on the other hand, plenty of free material available now. In addition to this, the Language FAQ is now in full motion.

Bring your queries to the Language HelpDesk anytime, and you will find them dealt with in the Language FAQ. Please feel free to inquire! Your name will not be posted on line, unless you request that. Only the answer to your query will come on line as it is added to the FAQ.

It should be made clear that, although LanGServices will soon start devoting more attention to the professional sections of this web site, this by no means implies that there will be a decrease of attention toward the public domain sections. The issue here is rather a matter of attaining a degree of balance between these two sides.
